ribit, reminded me. Years ago there was a story I heard while working in Dallas. A phone company guy would regularly get drunk and then go home and beat his wife. One night he came home and passed out on the couch. She got a cast iron skillet from the kitchen and beat him from head to toe. He ended up in the hospital with several broken bones and a lot of pain. It was said that he stopped drinking and never again hit his wife. She told him that if he did ever hit her again, she would kill him. It seems he believed her.
Well gee, he just wanted to exercize his 'rights' as a husband. Aren't wives supposed to follow their husbands around and wipe up the pee off the floor?
