Hi Clo.

I don;t think it is a surprise that the majority of Democrats are interested in raisng tax rates on whom they deem are :rich" This has been their mantra for decades.

They still have not figured out if you take away the rich people's money, you also will lose even more jobs as they are the ones who provide for them.

The argument that they don't fair their fair share is a load of hogwash.

Nothing more than the pld ENVY and class warfare to see if Dems can get some more ignorant people, too stupid to look up facts for themselves, to believe that line of crap and who also believe they are going to be the ones who benefit from that money.

These would be the same people who went into a hospital here in my town in the emergency room and wanted to see a doctor. The registrar patiently filled out their info and asked for their insurance card.

Insurance? Why we don;t need no insurance. Obama said all this was going to be free so I am here to get my free medical exam!

Another dumber than mud person wanted to know when her check was coming from Obama for gasoline for her car.

While that poll you posted may comfort you, any of the candidates in the opposing party's primary field would easily defeat the current usurper in chief in an election so I wouldn;t be too giddy about some twisted poll from Pew.

If that was from Rassmussen I might give it some credence but not from Pew. You might as well put up stuff from HUFFO BLOW HARD Post. Same difference.

Obama is DEAD in 2012. It will be a landslide.

I hope the new super majority republican HOUSE and SENATE go after Obama, BIDEN, all the white house counsel and czars for treason and Eric Holder as well.

Just like the DEMS did to many republicans after the last election? Turnabout would be fair, right?

Obama should be sent to GITMO and tried for treason along with the rest of the loonies trying to destroy America's freedoms.

Just my opinion, but again, your boy doesn't stand a chance.

Obama Draws More Confidence than GOP Leaders on Deficit

Most Support Raising Taxes on High Incomes to Reduce Deficit

September 26, 2011

The public's confidence in congressional leaders, particularly Republican leaders in Congress, has plummeted as the nation prepares for another round of deficit reduction debates. Just 35% say they have a great deal or fair amount of confidence in Republican leaders in Congress to do the right thing when it comes to dealing with the federal budget deficit, down from 47% in May.

Fully 62% say they have little or no confidence in the Republican leaders on this issue.

Public confidence in Barack Obama on the budget deficit, by comparison, has remained largely unchanged. The latest national survey by the Pew Research Center for the People & the Press, conducted Sept. 22-25 among 1,000 adults finds that 52% express at least a fair amount of confidence in Obama to do the right thing when it comes to dealing with the deficit, virtually unchanged from 55% earlier in the year.

Public trust in Democratic congressional leaders has also suffered - 43% say they have a great deal or fair amount of confidence in Democratic leaders, down from 51% four months ago.

The survey also finds continued public support for raising the tax rate on high incomes as a way to reduce the federal budget deficit and the size of the national debt.

The survey also finds continued public support for raising the tax rate on high incomes as a way to reduce the federal budget deficit and the size of the national debt.

Two-thirds (67%) approve of raising the tax rate on incomes over $250,000 as a means of reducing the national debt. This is virtually unchanged from May (66% approve). Just 30% disapprove of raising tax rates for incomes above $250,000.

Democrats overwhelming support raising the tax rate on income over $250,000; 82% of Democrats approve of this proposal and 67% of independents agree. As was the case in May, Republicans are divided: 47% approve and 51% disapprove of higher tax rates on income in excess of $250,000.
