is an odd thing.

There clearly are certain people who prefer to see a world free of obstacles. And others, like me, who want to see the image, warts and all. I suppose the flip side is also true, with relentless pessimism also widespread.

It is clear which is the popular view, but not so clear that the warty view is less correct.

Wonder why it is that certain kinds of optimism are more relentless than others.

If I was an armchair psychologist ... well, I'm not so I won't go there.
