re: "Mitt Romney claims that he's a middle-class American"

Isn't that the claim YOU make, too?

The average U.S. *HOUSEHOLD* makes about $50,000.

I suspect you misunderstood Mitt Romney's claim. He probably meant that he's an average guy - in terms of his values and friends, or perhaps that he had a "middle class" upbringing. I seriously doubt he ever said that he is currently "middle class" in terms of income, but I don't know. I don't follow Romney very closely... or support his candidacy, for that matter.

But I'm curious since what you've posted *IS* pretty bizarre. Can you show me your source?

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

Despite owning $12 million homes, riding $250,000 horses and taking $11,000 jet rides, Mitt Romney claims that he's a middle-class American, just like millions of other citizens who have been hurt the most by the economic policies of the Obama administration.
