...in Georgia the lottery was brought in for the same reasons. It worked so swell that they started payin enormous bonuses to the folks who run it. They also had so much money that they declared that everyone who wanted to go to college got a scholarship. The colleges lowered their admissions requirements til ya could get in if ya could tie your own shoes. If ya wore loafers or went barefooted the shoe tying thing was waived. Next thing ya know, the lottery is running a deficit. They changed the rules so that now ya have to be able to at least read and write and do some basic mathematics and accurately identify a map of the united states two times out of three. It was declared to be "racist".
Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!
