The reason I used quotes for "science",
Huntsman is willing to learn from "science", instead of using "religion".

sci·ence
   [sahy-uhns] Show IPA noun

1. a branch of knowledge or study dealing with a body of facts or truths systematically arranged and showing the operation of general laws: the mathematical sciences.

2. systematic knowledge of the physical or material world gained through observation and experimentation.

3. any of the branches of natural or physical science.

4. systematized knowledge in general.

5. knowledge, as of facts or principles; knowledge gained by systematic study.

clo,

re: 'He believes in "science".'

It's good that you put quotes around "science" - because Huntsman does NOT believe in science.

What he believes is that what the majority of scientists say must be right.

That's not science. It's ignorance. It's corruption. It's sloth. It's faith.

Scientists (notice the absence of quotes around the word) question EVERYTHING. Even scientific LAWS. When "scientists" say something isn't worth questioning, they aren't behaving as scientists. They're behaving as people willing to betray a key tenet of science.

*IF* Global Warming theory is a product of science, there are a few questions that should be at the forefront of every serious scientist's mind:

How was the earth's temperature taken?
Is that temperature-taking process flawed?
Is the warming natural?
If not, why did it happen previously?
If not, is Man responsible?
Why is Mars warming?
Is the Earth's warming a short-term phenomenon?
Does the earth have natural mechanisms that will halt or reverse the warming?
What is causing the warming?
What happens to the earth as it warms?
How high will the earth's temperature go?
Is the warming bad?
Should we try to reverse the warming?
Can we reverse the warming?
What will it cost to reverse the warming?
What will the impact be on our lifestyles from spending the money to reverse the warming?
Are there other things that the money should be spent on?
Is there any point in trying to reverse the warming if the rest of planet, particularly the #1 carbon-polluter (China), does not participate?
Will trying to reverse the warming do additional harm?
What will the additional harm be?
Will carbon-consuming nanobots make this problem NEGLIGIBLE within 30 years, as some scientists predict?
Do the scientists really understand what they're doing?
Why are scientists who disagree about global warming, including Nobel Prize winning Physicists, being pressured to shut up?
Why are "scientists" betraying the scientific principle that everything should ALWAYS be open to questioning?
Has the pressure influenced their decision to support Global Warming?
If so, who is doing pressuring them?
If so, why?
Why were/are politicians so quick to jump on the Global Warming bandwagon?

You seem to be a know-it-all about global warming. You've certainly joined the crowd that says those who question it don't believe in science. So tell me: Do you have the answers?

Does ANYONE?

And yet you already know that man-made Global Warming is real?

Something is wrong.

To figure out what, look inward.
