Decomp,

PROTESTS

Gregory has joined Ross Byrd and Martin Luther King III in the past to publicly protest Brewer's execution.

Two prominent Black men, Grerory & Martin Luther King III, along with the son of the victim publicly protested Brewer's execution.

The huge difference in these cases, Brewer was guilty.
Troy Davis had 7 of the 9 witnesses recant, #8 is also the accused.
Five wardens, including Allen Ault, who was warden of the prison that housed Davis, requested a stay based on circumstances. Several jurists said if they knew then what they know now they would NOT have convicted him.
Even folks like Bob Barr, a republican, pro death penalty requested a stay.

Just so I keep this straight in the future:

Georgia = Troy Davis. He's black. He killed Officer MacPhail (who is white). The media and the left (but I repeat myself!) are upset about his execution.

Texas = Lawrence Brewer. He's white. He killed James Byrd Jr. (who is black). The media and the left are fine about his execution.

How strange...

What's your explanation for the media reaction, clo?
