Fair enough. I don't know Byrd's son. He's apparently not typical - in his education level, at the very least.

However, I see nothing "graceful" about denying justice for the murder of one's own father. You apparently find the death penalty un-graceful. I do not. I think it is quite wonderful that if you do harm, we have a judicial system that will do its best to ensure you are found and forced to pay something comparable in penalty.

Quite elegant, when you think about it.

Decomp,

I was looking for current numbers, I did not take the percentage(s) in to account.
That was my error, unintended.
I too try to be honest, with myself & others.

Your posts tainting a man who's father was brutally killed angered me. He was able to show compassion for the killer & you attempt to smear HIM.
That was after your snide comment that folks weren't protesting the execution of the White murderer.
His own son asked that he not be executed.
So, when a person shows such grace I believe he deserves MORE than what you posted.
