Decomp,

I was looking for current numbers, I did not take the percentage(s) in to account.
That was my error, unintended.
I too try to be honest, with myself & others.

Your posts tainting a man who's father was brutally killed angered me. He was able to show compassion for the killer & you attempt to smear HIM.
That was after your snide comment that folks weren't protesting the execution of the White murderer.
His own son asked that he not be executed.
So, when a person shows such grace I believe he deserves MORE than what you posted.

clo,

re: 52.2% of the offenders were Black, 45.8% were White, and 2% were Other Races."

I try to be honest - with myself AND with you.

I'm not sure you always operate that way. Most recently, you negelected to state what strikes me as obvious - that while 52.2% of the homicide offenders were Black, blacks make up LESS THAN TEN PERCENT OF THE U.S. POPULATION.

45.8% of the homicide offenders were white. Whites make up MORE THAN HALF OF THE U.S. POPULATION.

Adding those facts tells us that blacks are committing murder at more than five times the rate of whites.

I'm not a racist, clo. I respect the truth, that's all. And unlike most people, I don't hide from it or add a "spin" just to keep discussions politically correct. If you have a problem with that, that's a cross YOU have to bear. In the great scheme of things, denying what's true is a loser's game.
