Perhaps I wasn't clear. I recommend putting murderers into a prison... perhaps by dropping them down a chute... and eliminating all contact with them from the outside. No people. No food. No water.
I think that would solve the problem the left has with the death penalty and also solve the problem *I* have with using taxpayer dollars to clothe and feed criminals who are of no further value to society.
I hate to ruin a perfectly good island by using it for such a purpose, but if that's the required compromise in order to get the bleeding hearts to support my plan, I could agree to that.
