..."punishment" is a minsnomer kiddo. Ya only punish those who stand a chance of redemption. The rest you either separate from society permanently or ya execute em.

...not takin meds? As far as I am concerned a person who does not take their meds and kills is the same as the guy who takes drugs or alcohol and kills. "Why" is irrelevant.

That's not how I see it.
They need to be held accountable, after all medication usually helps their behavior & they KNOW that.

I have some conflict in certain circumstances.
The lunatic killer in prison in Arizona, refused his meds, and could not be tried under those circumstances. If the court ordered him to take them he would face trial & the death penalty.
