clo,

re: "Voting for Ron Paul takes away a vote FOR one of the two TOP Electable possibilities."

Stalin, Hitler, and Ron Paul (who isn't in the top two.)

Which one are you going to vote for, clo?

By the time of the 2008 election, polls had already decided that Virginia would go for Obama.

What, then, would the point have been in voting for someone I despised, McCain? It wouldn't have changed the result. I wrote in the candidate who I actually supported.

In doing so, I improved the results for my candidate and made him a stronger candidate four years later.

So my vote wasn't passive at all.

I'm still waiting for your answer to my "pitter-patter" question. Stalin or Hitler, clo?

Voting for Ron Paul is *NOT* a vote for "the top two."

Sure it is.
Voting for Ron Paul takes away a vote FOR one of the two TOP Electable possibilities.
In a close election "your" vote & others like you could make the difference.

That's the reason I label it "your" passive vote.
