Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!

Snapits> Schwarz. says that at
that time the U.S. Army was (size-wise) #
SEVEN in the WORLD. IRAQ was #3. China was #1.)

Weyall . ..
Numerically. However, a few well trained soldiers
will rout a mob any time.

Numerically? Just means the Marines would get more
target practice.

Without air superiority - which We would (and did)
achieve rather quickly - saddams 'Army' would have
been easy pickings for our F-18 jockeys.

And, the M1 Abrams main battle tank (ours) is
second to none. One story I heard, one Abrams got
stuck in the mud. Three Iraqi tanks thought they had
a pigeon. When the smoke cleared the Abrams was the
only one still shooting.

So the guys finally abandoned the tank, and called in
an air strike to destroy it. That Air Force dudes
failed to perform. They finally had to get a tank
recovery vehicle out there to drag it out, send it
back, patch it up, and (I assume) send it back out
to kill more Iraqi tanks.
