clo,

re: "Why can't either of them ACT like a Leader?"

Perhaps because Obummer has showed them that they don't need to?

re: "...makes me question their ability to hold the office of POTUS."

Not true. You question their ability to hold the office because they aren't members of your club.

If you tried to be objective, you'd (1) be aware of your bias and try to fight it since it inclines you to make bad decisions, and (2) you'd realize that there are even more glaring reasons why Obummer doesn't have the ability to hold the office of POTUS. (His political inexperience.. his total lack of executive skill... his fondness for theory over practicality... his lack of clarity... strong evidence of his corruption/ties to criminals... his success in the Chicago political machine, etc.)

The way Romney & Perry are "trashing" Obama for their political purpose, while he is facing this highly volaitle situation makes me question their ability to hold the office of POTUS.
Why can't either of them ACT like a Leader? clo

Palestinian Statehood: Mixed Views, Low Visibility

Public Still Sympathizes More with Israel

September 20, 2011

Americans express mixed opinions about a possible independent Palestinian state, an issue that has so far drawn little attention from the press or the public. More favor (42%) than oppose (26%) the United States recognizing Palestine as an independent nation, while nearly a third (32%) express no opinion.
