My brother (not the priest, the other one) once told our dad, after he was heard complaining about taxes, that he hoped to someday be in a position where his tax bill was something over $50 grand, because that would mean that he must be making a crap-load of money doing something. Now I doubt that he ever got his wish, but he at least understood the concepts at an early age.
