...takes special ships to move that gas. They say if a shipload were to explode in Boston Harbor it would level a major portion of the city.

I was under the impression that natural gas is expensive to ship - that the market for it is essentially and necessarily LOCAL. Is it possible it could therefore become expensive in Japan, China and India, but remain cheap here?
