The fatal mistake he made (in my view) was not to shape the rules behind the funding of US elections as his first priority. There's strong support for that from the left and the Tea Party right.

Instead, we're locked into the plutocratic incumbency and we're going to need someone else with the popularity and the gumption to change it.

Otherwise, I suspect the idea of an America with an opportunity escalator will be an irrecoverable memory.

Its not in his DNA.
He's not a fighter & the blush is off the rose.

His only path to reelection is to run against the policies offered by the GOP.

I won't vote "for" Obama this time, I will vote against the GOP policies.
Obama is the lesser of evils. But I have NO enthusiasm, that could change is Perry was the candidate...
That would fire me up to get out the vote(s) for Obama! clo
