This is such a horrible ending for two healthy twin boys, just because the 25 YEAR OLD mother didn't want her parents to know she was pregnant.
I believe in "choice", this is MURDER, by the person that should guard & protect her babies at all costs.
Having her parents know is the least of it! clo

Police seek father of newborn twins allegedly killed by their mother

By Carolyn Pesce, USA TODAY

Police are trying to identify the father of newborn twin boys allegedly killed by their mother in Hendersonville, Tenn., The Tennessean reports.

Lindsey Lowe, 25, is charged with first-degree murder after she secretly gave births to the twins at her parents' home and then allegedly smothered them so her parents wouldn't hear their cries.

Lowe, who works as an assistant to a pediatric dentist, was arrested after her father discovered the body of one of the infants in a laundry basket.

Officials say the deaths were avoidable because Tennessee law allows mothers to abandon their children at "safe havens" — hospitals, health clinics and staffed police and fire stations — with no questions asked or charges filed as long as the baby is not harmed.

"It's one of the saddest cases I've ever seen in my long career," Sumner County District Attorney Ray Whitley tell The Tennessean, USA TODAY's sister publication in Nashville. "You've got two infants that are dead."

The newspaper says many people on the Western Kentucky University campus where Lowe attended college were shocked.

"She was always such a sweet, upbeat girl who had such a great life. She was always really involved, everyone always looked up to her," says Kailee Henson, a sorority sister who said Lowe was studying interior design. "You would never think in a million years she could do something like that."
