That's the second time in less than a week that someone has spoken to me that way! When I mentioned my age and retirement plan to my attorney this week, he cracked up and said I was just a kid!
Hrrmph. I represent that remark!
Well, I'm no kid. But, I admit, my "retirement" won't be the traditional sort. It'll be more like MY WORKING LIFE, PART DEUX!
I always hear how hard farming is. But I expect to enjoy the heck out of it... which probably means I won't be a very disciplined or GOOD farmer. That's okay. I'll be good enough. I'll be working toward self-sufficiency, relatively isolated and debt free. What more could a non-city-type want?
