snapits, I personally do not think abortion is right. I would never agree to support an abortion performed on a relative. But I think it should be up to the woman. We need to get big government out of our lives. I do not want the government telling me I cannot do anything unless it violates someone else’s rights. I find it a little irritating that the government keeps creating more and more laws to tell me what I can and cannot do in my own personal life. If I want to go out and eat a big, greasy hamburger 14 times a week, so what? If I am willing to buy insurance or pay the doctors for being three hundred pounds over weight, then it should be up to me. But if I cannot afford the doctor and do not have insurance, then that should be my business. If it kills me, that is my problem and government should not be involved. People make choices and should live with those choices. The governments job is to protect the country and the borders, not control the lives of the citizens.
