Orda, "The profit from any investment has never been taxed in the first place." Correct, but the money invested was already taxed once. If the investment returns a profit and the investor sells, paying 15% on the profit who looses? I agree the middle class is getting "hammered." Shame on them for being so gol Dag dumb to elect the fleacers. Yeah, the far right w/ all their money influences the elections, local,State and national. There will be a point when the populace "won't take it any more." Like a "bear" in the stock market there is a "bottom." But ranting against taxes on capital gains surely won't be a catalyst. There is nothing unfair to the middle class about capital gains taxes. I see little benefit on increasing that tax on the super rich. It is, IMO a pretty balanced tax. Not so extreme that it hampers investment while extracting a tax on profit. Golly, there is a middle. What is lacking is an ability, or enough money, to educate very lazy, apathetic, under educated, uninformed voters to vote self interest. Will it require "capitulation?" Probably
