The profit from any investment has never been taxed in the first place. In any case, the elite have all the money, anyway. Where's the risk in lending 1% or less of your booty?

The richest 10% of this country already control over 98% of the nation's wealth.

This is what happens when the elite always win. They cut their taxes and everybody else’s wages so that governments and people have no money. If government can't buy/spend and people can’t buy/spend you have no economy. The elites have all the money. They win. Hurrah. Now what?

Orda, Imo, this rant over capital gains tax is a whole bunch of hooey from the far "left." First off it fails to mention that capital gains are only paid on investments made with after tax money. Thus it's money taxed twice, often three times if the investment also pays taxes as in a profitable stock. It's risk capital which deserves a return. The far "left" is also a bunch of "wingnuts." Where in the world is investment to come from if the opportunity for gain, the risk/reward becomes too burdensome. That's silly stuff.
