"I am a little astonished at the lack of traction for Wave's solution, which I cannot easily explain."

I think all of us Wave investors have thought that same thought at one time or another.

I chose to try and understand the details of the technology that Wave is trying to market (and associated technology)to see if that could explain the lack of major traction, a piece or several pieces of the pie missing that was impeding progress. As opposed to Wave's sales/marketing strategy as the problem.

There are now enough TPM's/SED's available for the market to engage hardware based security in the PC space so what's the problem?

I cannot imagine that in the next 12 months that significant traction won't take place in the Government sector (and I guess the mobile space as Wave develops a business plan) but I sure have been wrong many times before.

Hi 4321,

The "getting it" thing was a yank. Of course you understand the granular stuff better than me and awk better even than that.

I've never been all that interested in learning more than the minimum detail of the technology. But all power to the folks who have the patience.

I used to be a bit more excited by the scope, but the timeline took on a higher profile somewhere along the way. I am mostly in tune with the philosophy of TCG. I am a little astonished at the lack of traction for Wave's solution, which I cannot easily explain.
