Not sure I follow your drift, so I didn't feel the "yanking of my tail" 
I'm trying to see the macro view of the efforts of the various associations, standards groups, Governments, Enterprises and then grab a microscope to try and study the micro view that awk sees.
Of course I get amazed at each little fact I learn about the process of implementing this Trust Matrix and at the same time get hopelessly lost in details.
All the while trying to keep my eye on Wave's involvement as the years pass by.
One hell of a project, no?
