According to Politico, the Associated Press has removed a story about Texas residents questioning Gov. Rick Perry’s return to the campaign trail while the wildfires continue to rage in Texas.
The AP issued a mandatory kill when they discovered that the person who asked the question about Perry’s campaigning was not an area resident. [In other words, the only source for their entire article was a disingenuous plant. Wow ... imagine that!

Oops!
The story has been replaced with the following text:
BASTROP, Texas — The Associated Press has withdrawn its story about Texas residents questioning why Gov. Rick Perry has not spent more time in areas affected by wildfires. The single person who asked about Perry’s involvement was not an area resident.
Maybe the next time the AP will actually verify the information before writing a six-paragraph story that they have to sheepishly kill after the fact. [Nah, I'm sure the AP doesn't feel the need to verify its leftist propaganda, do you?
