Sounds like they think they are smarter than everybody else... partially explains the "pi" bid... the arrogance.

Like some pro athletes with that first big contract. Maybe they just can't handle the success... they don't know how to act.

My first post after reading here for months.

I have a family member that is on a small team from a company that interfaces with Google on a project - nothing related to patents.

Google AWAYS thinks they know best, even when they are clearly wrong. Google ALWAYS expects to get their way.

If Enron had the smartest guys in the room, Google has the most arrogant.

Not sure where that gets them in this case, but you can count on the dynamic.
