Hi micro,

I didn't know you had a serious health issue you were dealing with. Sooo happy to learn you are on the mend!

My oldest son, 43, had a heart attack last month. He was in the hospital as it was occuring, in PA, he lives in PA. He has a stint, one artery was totally blocked, 2 others 60%.
He felt much better after this surgery, more energy.

He's back to work, started back a week ago Wednesday, he can't afford not to. He's an operating engineer, usually operates tower cranes in NYC.
He's working in Queens NY, over 100 miles away, at least he has another guy to car pool with.

Take care, enjoy the journey, every day is a gift. clo

Hi and thank you kathy!

I went back today for a few hours. Limited time and duties. Doc says to go at this SLOWLY and since its my heart and I only have one, he has my full and undivided attention! lol!!!

No, I didn't go to the Cleveland clinic, although they are a premier place for sure. I went to one of the best heart hospitals in Cincy, but I did not go there for that reason. That was above and beyond what procedure was to be performed and so a decision was made by my mrs. while I was on the table out cold and oblivious to anything. I have had a running battle with a leaking valve and multiple tears over some few years and they were going to go repair the latest tear which was leaking blood into my body.

When inside they assessed that this valve was very weak and I was likely going to be right back there gain sooner rather than later so the question came up about replacing the entire valve and just be safe and good for a long time to come.

So, when I came to in recovery, I was informed I had a new artificial valve.

I have an outstanding cardiologist and trust him completely. That makes for excellent relations between doctor and patient and in my case, my life has been in his hands more than once.

I do hope you guys finally resolve the homeless state you are in. Please forgive my faulty memory as it isn't as sharp as it once was. I'm thinking age might have something to do with that. lol!!!!!!

I am very glad to see your presence and to know that you are still with us here at Rant2 with king froggy!

You guys take care and be well!

the best,

micro...
