that, in an interview with CNN's Wolf Blitzer yesterday, Dick Cheney stated that he had "no Regrets" about his eight year tenure as Vice President under George W. Bush. Cheney said that they had "gotten everything just about right". What is so sad is the fact that, under their tenure, over ten million people lost their jobs and the middle class in this nation was so greatly reduced. It is sad that Cheney has forgotten all about that fact, if he ever cared to begin with. The fact that the policies of balancing a budget in times of extreme economic hardship while they handcuff a president who wants to create jobs just so that they can regain power is the saddest thing of all about the Republican party in general these days. A nation that would return people like these into power might just be in for one of the saddest experiences of their lives.

We saw the film "The Sting" a couple of weeks ago and the background scenes of the last depression that were in evidence there should be required viewing for every American who cares about his nation or his family.

Regards,

Joe

To say that "God exists" is the greatest understatement ever made across space and time.
