OKAY, FUZZBALL, YOU'RE LOVABLE!
At least clo is always feelin' the love whenever she and I are postin' back and forth, don'tcha know!
Unfortunately, I no longer read Clo. When she lost her sister, I felt terrible about that, being that I love my siblings so very much.
I saved what I wrote to her and she never even acknowledged my sympathy.

Dear Clo,
I apologize for not knowing about the loss of your sister, Melanie.
We all encounter life-altering events that occur suddenly and without warning.
You must now begin the long, arduous journey through the maze of physical and emotional upheavals. You will, unfortunately, face the almost insurmountable obstacles that LIFE makes us face.
I have four siblings. Complete and total devastation would have to describe how I would feel if I lost one. My heart goes out to you.
I am also one of 29 first-cousins. No one seemed to believe that, yet I said it to as many people as would listen to me.
As of Aug. 17th, 2010, SADLY, I must now say that I am one of 29 first-cousins, 28 surviving. One of my cousins passed on Aug. 13th, yet he was revived so that his organs could be donated. When that chore was complete, the hospital pulled the plug, with the family's permission.
On one of my walls at home, I have collages of pictures of my siblings and me. Some days, I stand there and look at every single one. How time could have passed so quickly is a mystery to me.
I pray you manage your future without Melanie, with happy memories and deep gratitude that you were privileged enough to have her in your life.
With sympathy and warm thoughts - 'k

IT TOOK ME A LONG TIME TO WRITE THAT, AND IT WAS HEARTFELT.
HOW A PERSON COULD NOT EVEN RESPOND WITH A "T.Y." IS BEYOND ME.
PERSONALLY, I THOUGHT IT WAS REPREHENSIBLE.
