I was surprised at the vote this year.
I'm afraid I am not convinced that Wave's investor community could agree on a good candidate. I have a poster whom I think could do something useful. But I doubt he would do it and he isn't popular and he doesn't post much. In fact, between you and me, he is really quite arrogant - and also opinionated, even if in an interesting way. Hence I haven't named him, although I mentioned him to awk at one point a few years ago. And he probably remembers my choice. Probably not someone you have noticed. You just might have.
I think Wave's board needs a shake-up. And your average nice guys would do no good at all. So although weby is certainly a very decent bloke, he's not what Wave needs, in my view.
