During the Christmas holidays when I light up Mom's house and yard, my electric bill runs over $300. Last month with the AC running most of the time, it was about $250. I assume my bills, food, pet food, etc. will be around $800 a month, but last month it was near five grand. Mom had a gas leak and a water leak and then I had her house painted.
Any extra money goes to pay the heating oil deliveries for the winter.
Just topped it off with 81.9 gal @ 3.30 = $270.27.
