that he backs Leader Eric Cantor's plan to tie disaster relief to spending cuts. "If there is a supplemental (additional spending) it must be accompanied by pay-fors." So with high unemployment and a serious need to repair roads, bridges, homes and structures once again the "right" wants to hold passage of funds to meet those needs hostage for more spending cuts. It's totally ludicrous, a charade for their real objective which is to eliminate more government regulation/oversight so their backers can pillage even more. Something I really can't fathom is how these mesanthropes attract the religious right. It seems so counter intuitive-isn't there more to the religious right than anti abortion, anti gay- where's charity and common sense? I guess I'm simply not smart enough to understand.
