Well, sure. But two hurricanes only a couple of weeks apart are more likely to be affected by the same ocean currents. If those currents are still in place, then Katia is *NOT* going to duplicate Irene's behavior. It's not positioned properly.
If those currents are still there, Katia will miss the U.S. by a wide margin.
That's my point.
And if they aren't, then there's not much point in speculating. No one has a clue where it might be headed.
