Yes, someone told me that Ohio has no 'natural' lakes, which I find hard to believe, to say the least.

Being from Michigan, I grew up where you couldn't walk more than a mile or two in any one direction and not run into a lake or stream. The joke was that since most of the lakes and streams, at least in Northern Michigan, were fairly clean, that Michigan would be the hardest state to die of thirst in (although the residents of Minnesota and Wisconsin might argue that point ;-)

I've heard that. And I think there are some other states that have NO natural lakes.

It's a bit hard to believe, though. It probably comes down to the definition of "lake."
