Okay CF, it was a mite strong, so I dissected what I wrote. I very much think he's as yet unproven - while agreeing he has had some successes - he has not proven able to led a successful company, which after all is his job. He definitely has had at least a dozen years of nothing but losses. So my sentence structure was poor. It suggested "a long history of nothing... but bad decisions." That clearly is not accurate. A better construct would have been "a long history of nothing but losses riddled with too many bad decisions." (I should have included his propensity to deceive.) In sum I think my description was not inaccurate. Maybe we're hair splitting. Anyway, thanks as always.

Hi tkc,

This is too strong: "The man is simply unproven w/ a long history of nothing but losses and bad decisions."

Steven has been responsible for Wave's major contribution to the development of a new and extraordinarily complex security architecture. He has been responsible for the introduction of an original and extensive product set. He has managed to get Dell to deploy his software on a large scale and been paid for the pleasure. A fair number of positives.

Not saying there are no negatives. But I think you are channelling a view that is more extreme than the history supports.
