Power just returned, had gone out during the night.
High winds continue, seems stronger now.
Lots of rain & trees down, power out for many.
Not sure if mine will stay, as trees still threaten.
Hope everyone is okay.
NY has had over 18 inches of rain this month, the most rain EVER in a single month.

Our politicians were on the ball!
They learned the lessons of Katerina, bless them! clo

D.C.'s top sustained winds are supposed to be here in two hours - at about 39 mph. No big deal. Winds feel like they're 10mph right now. I've got my doors open to help air out the house.

New York, on the other hand, is going to have sustained winds above 70 mph around 11am tomorrow. When's the last time you had anything like that, lkorrow?

ktc: 64 mph sustained winds for Boston, tomorrow at 4pm.
