Perhaps the biggest point that is not being mentioned in these articles or discussed is the 10,000 patents that are pending.
These pending patents are exactly the future that we all believe that IDCC holds the keys to. Seldom, if ever do investors have a chance to be part of what could be even bigger than the 3G and 4G/LTE patents that have already been issued. Remember, besides the 4G/LTE patents that IDCC is developing and has already developed they are fully involved in M2M (machine to machine) and video compression (bigger pipes).
Whether IDCC gets bought out now or whether they choose a different venue for the companies future derived from the current exploration of "strategic options", owning shares is your ticket to that future and for me, it is the only game that I am in.
