If you need a clock, keep an eye out for a wind up one. I have several. All did not work when I bought them and I never paid more than $20. Most were 5 and $10. I took the works out, washed them with carborator cleaner. Oiled them and put them back in the clock. In ever case, they worked. But then most were made around 1900. The most expensive one, I never use. It has to be wound up every day. Shocked

Kathy, I would have had to go back and pay them the $8.

Actually, DG, the clock at $20 minus $6 = $ 14.00.

So your calculation of the $6 I paid, and the $8. I owed is exactly $14. Nothing gets by you!

I intended to correct their mistake, but time got away from me, and I never returned it. It didn't keep time anyway!!

They make enough mistakes that are NOT in our favor anyway.

I threw the clock away,

But, if it helps both of our consciences, I would have corrected the price immediately.

It was just that it was on Visa and I didn't see it until I got home.

Stealing is only one thing wrong with this country.

Don't ask me to go on: the list is endless.
