Goodness. A long list of things to get excited about next year!!

And there I am thinking Wave is trying to sell its product in 2011 and that Steven is responsible for Wave's performance for not only this year but all of the last decade. And that he has managed to construct a product which is endlessly contingent on other speculative components of a speculative architecture rather than capable of being useful on its own with the components which are available now after a decade of development and 1/2 billion chips and Dell and SEDs and HAP and virtualisation and .....

But you've gone and done the proper thing and placed the responsibility elsewhere and set up the hope for 2012 and beyond and added all sorts of other ideas that likely require deployment prior to there being a use for Wave's ERAS. Thanks for setting me straight.

By 2020 this thing will rock!

Thanks for the pep talk, but I must confess I posted that diagram while I had "tongue in cheek".

Not to diminish what you have just said, I really do understand your opinion and frustration with the lack of progress (I am as well) but all the effort going into this "trust matrix", well I feel it is to big to fail.

I cannot hold SKS and Wave responsible for the lack of what is a general ignorance of the Trusted Computing space, and what appears to be a much more complex sales cycle than anyone ever imagined.

If I were to hazard a guess (this must be the 100th time) it looks like 2012 has some interesting technologies coming together that can benefit from TCG specifications.

Things like the GlobalPlatform initiative, Mobile payment schemes using Near Field Communication (NFC), the deploying of the Mobile Trusted Module (MTM) specification and products using them, Products using the Hypervisor (Virtualization Technology) in the clients to create secure multiple domains for multi Operating systems running on one device, and last but not least Windows 8 operating system that will be able to boot from a Self Encrypting Drive.

Imagine the hype around MicroSoft being able to state one of the most secure OS's for the Enterprise by booting from a SED and has a self healing capability as well.

I maybe wrong in my "dreaming" but if I'm half right it should be very interesting in Wave's world.
