Hi 4321,
Well now, don't go getting down, my friend. I like your cheeriness. Your job is to provide the wild optimism and mine is to try to deflate you just a little bit, but not all the way.
HAP was a great example of Wave's reality. The word filters down to get excited about this particular thing. And then not much of anything happens. Looked awful nice, that diagram, didn't it.
At this point, Q4 could very well be the charm. Trouble is, we don't know which Q4. Are we talking 2011, 2012, 2020, 2050?
Maybe Wave is the ultimate black swan. A vastly costly technology that generates no business. Maybe your dream is right around the corner. I hope so. Unfortunately, so much hope has already been wasted. It is a much more stable state simply to predict less and to work with reality. When they release the news is when the progress occurs. Even four major deals in 2011 looks like it is beyond them.
Why the heck hire 50 people? Is he doing this to avoid the appearance of failure if he cannot keep the revenues increasing beyond 2011? It's all a bit perplexing. Where's the beef? Revenue per sales person is going to drop through the floor at this rate.
