CF, Although it is wrong, I doubt the implication is. Democrats win large pluralities in Large urban areas, i.e. Boston, NYC, Philly, Chicago with very few counties - enough to carry the state - but lose widely in sparsely populated counties which far out number the few urban ones. And when one looks at most of the red states the GOP carries the vast majority of counties. It just makes sense.
Those kind of statistics make good copy but are quite obvious, certainly no surprise. Really, there must be many more murders per capita in Baltimore than in Jackson Hole or Ames. It's meaningless even if accurate. It's purpose is propaganda, manipulation - for sure I know you got that immediately. Thus this post is for other readers.
