re: "Please show us where that's spelled out in the Constitution?"

The Constitution does not spell out the difference between a good leader and a bad one, OCU.

It's common sense that tells us that the country improves under a good national leader. It slides down under a bad one. And right now, it's in one helluva slide.

"It's his ultimately the President's fault if the three branches of government will not work together."

Please show us where that's spelled out in the Constitution? Actually the writers of the Constitution were scared to death that they might be giving too much power to the executive and so they went out of their way to give the House and especially the Senate the powers of 'checks & balances'. But then our Founding Fathers, unlike how the tea baggers would like us to think of them, actually thought that the people elected to Congress and the Presidency would actually have the best interests of the country as their primary responsibility and that they understood that ALL of the branches of government were expected to work together for the COMMON GOOD.

People seem to have forgotten that Obama came into office pledging to work with EVERYONE in Washington and in fact, some of his first meetings with the movers and shakers there was NOT with those on the Left or even the middle, but rather with those decidedly on the Right, to the concern of those of us on the Left, and look what it got him. He took the first steps toward working together and yet he was rejected and condemned for everything that happened after that. Mitch McConnell made it clear from practically day one that he had NO intention of ever working with Obama.

So when you start to accuse Obama for not leading, let's be clear as to exactly who it was who threw the first obstacles in his path and who has continued to undermine virtually everything that he has attempted to do to help this country, to the point that the Right now has SO much invested in Obama's failure that they are willing to take the rest of the country down with him just to make a point.
