Years ago,a poster on one of the boards explained it this way.He said,''Think of the laws of physics as a sandbox,untracked.IDCC was one of the first to start tracking it up with patents for wireless technology.Unless you change the law of physics,a lot of what IDCC has done cannot be worked around,period.This is one advantage of being first to the party.Cash is King,Apple will get IDCC alone or with partners imo.I just can't or won't believe Gates and Jobs will let that new,snot nosed kid Google dictate to them the future of wireless.This is now a big dog pissing contest,who's got the biggest wang.Or a fight to see who gets to sit in the front seat,imo.
we are now at the phase where they are trying to limit the final price....this asset is going to trade....looks like the buyer[s] would like to limit it to 5byn or so...give or take the cash....we'll see how that works out...it only takes two to tango.....and lets not forget....that of the 3 large portfolios that have or will trade.....IDC"S IS THE BEST.....and there will NEVER [and i do mean never]be another wireless asset of this size and quality offered up for anywhere near this price again
