IMO, the spectrum management work from IDCC will be crucial for allowing continued growth by the Telecoms in regards to adding subscribers so they can crank out the sausage, and justification for a final price floor of 5B for IDCC's treasure trove of talent and inventions/patents. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AAP03Z3iEms

I appreciate the company's sense of urgency to button up and get a deal done since it appears the media attention is not differentiating the important wireless mgmt patents like IDCC holds with UI stuff from Apple, like the bouncing scroll treatment for navigation of scroll-able lists on the device. Reports like this http://www.npr.org/blogs/money/2011/07/26/138576167/when-patents-attack are going to inflame the public and possible action from our government. What do you all think?

we are now at the phase where they are trying to limit the final price....this asset is going to trade....looks like the buyer[s] would like to limit it to 5byn or so...give or take the cash....we'll see how that works out...it only takes two to tango.....and lets not forget....that of the 3 large portfolios that have or will trade.....IDC"S IS THE BEST.....and there will NEVER [and i do mean never]be another wireless asset of this size and quality offered up for anywhere near this price again
