One of the reasons I'll be delighted if this land purchase goes through is that it has plenty of wildlife. That's no wonder - it's very rural. I've circled the approximate boundaries in the photo below, and you can see that beyond the property on three sides, there's absolutely nothing but beautiful, dense wilderness.
If I'm growing my own fruits and vegetables, I may as well get my meat from the land as well. There's even a good sized pond to the east (assuming that Up is North in this photo). If it's not posted, maybe I can fish it. There's definitely a year-round brook on the property's left edge. There are bound to be fish.
