Gold over the last ten years has been without a doubt a great investment, but if things really un-ravel and completly go to sh*tI just can't see gold as being that useful. It will be firepower and ammunition and strength in numbers ( family friends tribes, etc) that will really count to me. Glad I have both. I think that ammunition will have more barter power than gold any day for goods & services in a true doomsday scenario! JMHO
