...when I was in the service, we had a thingy that picked up incoming artillery/mortar rounds via radar and worked the math to determine the point of origination. It would have the settings to have return fire directed onto that point within minutes. It took up two tractor trailers and was on the fritz most of the time. I now have a computer on my desk with more power and it is smaller and cheaper.
