That's total BS, clo. That was the most effective way to ensure they become addicted to government handouts and vote for the people who want to keep them addicted. They don't pay "many, many taxes" ... the Earned Income Credit sees to it that they do not pay any FICA taxes, subsidized rent vouchers means they're not even coming close to covering any property taxes on the property they're living in - we, the taxpayers, are covering that, they're not paying sales tax when they use food stamps, etc., etc., etc.
