Zim, I learned a little programing; Atari 400. Shocked
I actually built a program to do payrolls for my mother. She told me she did not know anything about computers. I told her it was not a computer. It was a toy. She went from spending four hours a week to thirty minutes.

DGPeddler> In my opinion, college is a waste. It just teaches what students should have been taught in grades 1 to 12.

DGPeddler,
College is supposed to take up from where high school
left off . . . or perhaps diving in depth into subjects
high school only gave a 'working knowledge' of.

But, I'm with you. These days, with 'diversity' at
the fore-front, all too often colleges 'enroll'
clowns who are unqualified to be in college . . . .
then the instructors 'have to' teach to the idiots
and those who want and are ready to learn more get
shortchanged.

Years back now, I went to take a computer programming
course in the 'C' language . . . I'd dabbled in
programming before, and I knew the only way to learn
was to actually write code. So, Opening day of class
I ask the instructor for a homework assignment . . .
black guy in the class threatened to kick my butt
for wanting some homework. (He didn't last long.)

Zim.
