If google did not intend to acquire IDCC does anyone think they would participate only to drive the price higher for whoever gets it? How about Apple might they not do the same?
did goog make an unnecessarily high bid for motorola [why would apple want to buy mot handset business]....just so apple would be able buyout idc for a low price?....what kind of strategy is that?....the shoot your load early so your main competitor can swoop down and snap up the real prize cheaply strategy?....or is it?....the im so smart i can even outsmart myself strategy??
